As many as 9.7 million children could be forced out of school forever by the end of this year, a report from Save the Children has warned.
According to Save the Children, there will be an estimated $77 billion gap in education spending for the world’s poorest children. That will leave children in 12 countries… Afghanistan, Chad, Pakistan, Yemen, including Nigeria, at extremely high risk of dropping out of school forever. Children in another 28 countries at moderate or high risk of not going back.
