Children’s Day is a day for celebration, laughter, joy and peace and it is also a special day for all the children in the world. It’s an international holiday that was first established in Nigeria in 1964.
The celebration is held on different days in several countries. In Nigeria, it is celebrated annually on 27th May. Children are said to be gifts from God, It doesn’t matter the sex and physical state or condition of the child.The day marks a celebration of children, raising awareness for issues that affect children and helping us appreciate that they are the future of our societies.
