It is no longer news that Nigeria has the highest out of school children in the world. According to UNICEF there exist over 13 million out-of-school children. While most children in Nigeria are able to start primary school, many however do not make the transition to junior secondary. Millions of Nigerian children drop out of school and are unable to continue their schooling for lack of funds or support from guardians. Therefore to bridge the gap of children out of primary school, AOA Foundation carried out a Back-to-School outreach to UBE junior secondary school, NKST WADATA, Makurdi, Benue state. An awareness campaign to speak out against domestic violence towards children was done and a session on practicing good moral values also helped children identify how to grow into more productive members of society.

A total number of 278 students were benefited from 2,560 Educational materials distributed to the school.

One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.
